Cargo condition surveys

For shippers, receivers, or anyone else in the chain we regularly perform cargo condition surveys on arrival of the goods. The purpose of such a survey is to confirm the condition and specification of the cargo as specified in, f.i. the sales contract.

We verify seals, packing and damages (if any).

In line with the above we also carry out hatch surveys. The purpose of a hatch survey is to ascertain the condition of a cargo at time of arrival at the port of destination on opening the hatch covers on a ship before commencement of cargo discharge. We assess the way of (quality) sampling of the superintendents, verify the general condition of hatches and other relevant voyage data, that could have influenced the cargoes'condition.
